90s Costumes

Although the 1990s are not that long ago, there is a new generation of party goers who will not be aware of many things that happened and many people who were prominent through the decade. By choosing a costume from this decade it will be a chance to reminisce with people who were around and relive the experience for the benefit of those who were not. The 90s costumes can come from a wide range of areas as there were some unforgettable films, unique musical acts and a number of events that will never be forgotten.
90s costumes will be plentiful when it comes to famous people in real life although some will need to be produced with a great deal of care. Everyone will know who Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky are but this is one costume that needs to be well made. For an extra laugh there is the option to have another guest dressed as Hillary Clinton and then you can watch the fur fly.
The films of the 90s will provide plenty of options when it comes to getting cool costumes. Men in Black would be ideal replacements to the costumes many wore as the Blues Brothers and they would be just as instantly recognizable. They will not be expensive to get and if they are purchased rather than hired, most if not all parts can be used in day to day life. Forest Gump is another film where the main character is easy to recognise and will not cost a lot to put together.
Women had a good choice of role models – some good some bad – so 90s costumes for them will be easy to copy. Marge Simpson will be great for the girl who does not take herself seriously, while if there is the need to show off the body then Lara Croft will be the one to choose. Peggy Bundy is another that is going to raise a smile and for the older party goer, The Golden Girls can be copied. This will be ideal if a group of 4 decide to go as them all but pity the one who is chosen to go as Sophia!!
Austin Powers is instantly recognizable and so this will ensure that no one asks who you have come as. Bob Ross will be the same as he had a distinctive look, and to make sure there is no misunderstanding then take along a palette and paintbrush. There is a limit to the number of people who will remember the teen comedy show ”Saved By the Bell” but by turning up dressed as Screech is it possible that there will be a whole new generation wanting to watch the film thanks to your 90s costumes.
